This textbook does a terrible job explaining the concepts behind vocabulary and processes. It crams too much information into each chapter and skips over valuable insights on why you're doing each step or where numbers are coming from. You'll need a great instructor or a tutor to actually understand what you're doing - this textbook doesn't provide adequate explanations to master the material.I wish it wasn't my required course textbook, because this book was horrible.

Terrible explanations Of how to work problems.

I just started this book, but I think I am going to actually be able to learn the ins and outs of statistics by using this book.... unlike the previous statistics book I had to use in class. There are a lot of hands on exercises which I think will be extremely beneficial in the learning process.

This book is great substitute for the US book. All the same problems and examples.
