Fantastic study tool for all levels. Even for medical professionals - the details on the x-rays / ct scans that correlate with the body parts on each card, are incredibly helpful !!
These flashcards cover everything you need to know about neuroscience as a med student. My major complaint about them and the reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 is that perhaps they were a little too comprehensive. There were several topics on the cards that were not covered in my preclinical med school curriculum. The cards also had a LOT of text on them, which was helpful in the sense that there was a lot of useful information but at the same time kind of overwhelming because there was so much text (I'm talking a paragraph or 2, not a couple sentences on the back). I did not get the corresponding textbook so I have no idea how they correlate. I'm also still a preclinical student, so I have no idea how useful it would be studying for a neurology rotation.

I am taking functional neuroanotomy this Winter 2013, and I was stumped as to how I would learn the parts of brain and spine without flashcards that I would normally write myself. Of course, I could spell out different sections and functions, and I have an atlas to help with that, but, honestly I live and die by my flashcards.The Netter's flashcards were an obvious solution to my dilemma, but I was apprehensive about the cost; however, I found them to be well worth it. The 125 cards are well worth the cost, and they are very intuitive, even going as far as to show placement on MRIs. If you're spending any length of time in the brain and neurosciences, I highly recommend purchasing this. It's a wonderful supplement to any textbooks you may have to buy on the subject.
You just can't go wrong with Netter's when you're studying anatomy, and these neuro cards prove it. Very thorough, colorful, and easy to use. Very much worth the money!
